The most apparent changes of the new Taurus, are the higher sidelines on the body and a sleeker roof line and the overall car is about 2” wider. Lowering the roof, raising the beltline, and stuffing under the wheel wells with a election of seventeen-, eighteen-, and nineteen-inch wheels. Makes this new Taurus a match-up beyond belief for its competitors.The 2010 Taurus, however, remains a large vehicle. Sure, it sits just over an inch lower, but it’s still 60.7 inches in height—2 inches or more higher than most every other vehicle in its class, And while being wider is better, 76.2 inches is 2 inches more in width than a Chrysler 300C and 3.5 inches wider than a BMW 5 Series.

The Ford Taurus SHO model looks almost exactly like its lesser model. Distinct SHO badges emerge on the trunk lid and C-pillars, and the front bumper LEDs have a chrome bezel rather than a black one. As well as a trunk lid spoiler, two chrome tailpipes, and a mean looking new grille. The letters SHO are all about dominance, but this one still reads calm when put under the lights.
