In Kavos, holidays neatly divide into two time zones – under-the-sun and after-dark. For the former there’s a stunning sandy beach stretching five miles from start to finish – so loads of snoozing space there. If you’ve got the energy to get active, there are watersports from pedaloes to parasailing. And while the beach is fairly cramped, its gentle slope into the Mediterranean gives you broad shallows – excellent for laid back on a lilo.
Kavos has an abundance of small beach shops, more than you’ll ever need, offering loads of shopping options with everything from sun hats to sun cream. There are also a few traditional tavernas, there are an abundance of cafes splendid for grabbing some fast food or to sample an English breakfast – at all hours. So eating can be pretty cheap. Kavos Corfu really kicks off after dark though. You should pace yourself in the clubs, pubs and bars if you adore partying till the early hours. For twosomes on holiday to Kavos, the San Marina Hotel fits the bill. If you are looking for a late availability holiday to Kavos, there are usually an array of late deals.
Towards the north east tip of the island there are also an abundance of resorts to suit every taste. The resort of Kassiopi is really lively but not in the same league as of Kavos. The tempo rises after dark when the night owls troop to music bars and the families find an authentic taverna for food, wine and holiday talk. Just around the north coast is the resort of Sidari in Corfu which has clubs, bars, pubs and restaurants galore and an abundance of choices to help you party dusk-till-dawn. Noone can dispute that Corfu has resorts to suit all tastes.
